Senior Network Action Committee (SNAC) is a working group for Peace Corps Volunteers serving in Ukraine who are over 50 years old.
SNAC's mission is two-fold. The first mission is to fulfill its founding intent of a social venue for older volunteers by having meetings in different Ukrainian cities, as well as offering camaraderie and support. The second mission is to support Peace Corps' efforts both in Ukraine and in Washington by offering our expertise through various SNAC committees, as well as collaborating with other Peace Corps groups to enhance volunteers' service experience as well as that of our host institutions and sites.
All over-50 Peace Corps Ukraine Volunteers are ipso facto members of SNAC unless they specifically request to relinquish their membership rights. There is no membership meeting requirement, though meeting attendance is encouraged.
SNAC's newsletters can be found in the Materials Database, including the Fall 2010 Newsletter and the Spring 2010 Newsletter
